Description
The Young Guns Challenge Texas Showdown is the highlight of the year at Caprock Rifle Club! This youth-only precision rifle match will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2024. This match is open to youth shooters ages 8-18(age as of January 1, 2024), and will be an all prone shooting format with coaching allowed during the course of fire. Targets will be easily identifiable, and located from 100 out to 1200 yards. All youths must be accompanied by adult supervision. The purpose of this event is to build confidence, skills, and family relationships in the next generation of long range shooters. Entry fees go back to the prize table, and we have some great companies stepping up as sponsors. Lunch will be provided on site, with awards to follow immediately after match completion.
